Can see my network but can't connect

I can see my wireless network, but when I try to connect nothing
happens. My access point is a new dir-625 router(N). My adapter on the
pc I'm trying to connect is a dwl-g132 & OS is Windows 2000.

I was able to connect before with the new router, but after trying to
change my network around a little to get better range with this new
router things went wrong. I tried to use a new dwa-142(N) adapter on
the pc, but didn't work so I scrapped that and went back to the original
dwl-g132, but as said, now I can't connect.
What could have gone wrong in the process?
