Is this for new customers only or can this be applied for people migrating?

http://www.demon.net/demon/products/...broadband/home

Demon Home 8000
Free set up and modem
£19.99 a month inc VAT
Online Purchase Only

Fast connection. Up to 8Mbps downstream* and 448kbps upstream.
Unlimited email addresses. Give each member of the family their own email
address.
FREE Demon spam filtering on all your email. An automated filtering system
removes the hassle of dealing with junk mail.
Demon Home has no formal usage restrictions but is subject to the Fair Use
Policy

* Refers to maximum downstream line speeds only. The actual speed you
experience will be subject to certain conditions and depends on a number of
factors, including your distance from the telephone exchange and the quality
of the wiring in between.

My Dad has this type of account and I have the static IP product. We are
both being upgraded to 8Mbps for no extra cost.

Also, it my experience Demon BB has been solid for years - business users
hardly ever report problems.

Yes you should get the free upgrade. Demon should have already written
to you both. But in any case visit
http://www.demon.net/faster/faster.html and follow the link for existing
customer and it will tell you when your upgrade should happen. I have to
wait until October!

Regards
Simon

New customers. Existing customers get shafted and have to wait months, in
my case December, others into the New Year.
