Can print server be wireless while in infrastructure mode?

My wireless G Linksys print server is cabled to my wireless G Linksys
router and works fine with printers connected to both the parallel and
the USB ports. However I had hoped to use the print server uncabled,
in wireless mode. The manual and setup wizard indicate I can use it
as wireless only if my network is in ad hoc rather than in
infrastructure mode. I have four wireless computers networked to the
wireless router in infrastructure mode, all working fine and
communicating with the cabled print server and printers. How do I
"uncable" the print server and make it wireless? Will it run in ad
hoc mode while the rest of the network is in inrastructure mode? My
first attempt was a failure.

I solved my own problem.

For those who are having trouble installing their Linksys Print
Server:

First plug the cable into the print server and into the router, and
then configure the print server with the software. Using
infrastructure mode is fine, but you will not see the WLAN light come
on. After completing the setup wizard and installing the drivers,
unplug the power to the print server and disconnect the LAN cable.
Now reconnect the power cord. When the print server reboots, it will
be in wireless infrastructure mode and the WLAN diode will be lit.
The wireless mode will not be activated unless you unplug the power,
remove the cable, and then restart the print server.

So why couldn't the instructions say so?
