I have a VPN with a Linksys BEFVP41 at the remote end and a PIX506 at
the main office. Behind the Linksys are 4 users and 1 large MFP
printer. 2 users cannot ping some of the servers in the main office,
nor can they get on the internet. They can ping as far as their
default gateway (the linksys) but no further. From the corporate side
however if we ping one of the addresses of the users, that creates a
session and the user can now connect to the server, however after some
time with no activity passes the problem comes back.

As a side note the users are connected the Linksys via 2 switchs and
wireless network. Could to many hops be the problem? I dont think so
since switchs just pass the information through as well as the MFP
printer is on the same segment and it has no probems.

Windows XP with SP2, we have tested with and without windows firewall.

You may want to post your issues to microsoft.public.windowsxp.network_web
or perhaps a Linksys support newsgroup. This newsgroup supports Microsoft
Broadband Networking hardware and software only.
