Hi All -

I'm able to ping outside IP addresses through win98se,
however I cannot resolve DNS entries (www.yahoo.com,
etc). I've tried specifing DNS servers, etc. I keep
getting "Unknown Host".

Any ideas,
Rob

Try this fix:

1. Un-install Internet Connection Sharing (if installed)
2. Un-install Dial-Up Networking. Don't reboot.
3. Delete registry key HLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Winsock2
4. Re-install Dial-Up Networking. Reboot.
5. Re-install ICS (if desired).

If you DNS is configured correctly, take look at your HOSTS file in your
systemroot for any bogus entries.
