Can not map drives on new pc as Administrator

I can ping server from PC and to the server outside the
office....works.....try to map network drive......dialog box opens to Browse
for Folder and you see My Network Places> Entire Network....when I try to
expand the server folder it does nothing......we can see the other server in
the outside office....right click on either server folder and click Explore
and the following message comes up....

**Our Domain** is not accessible you might not have permission to use this
network resources.
The list servers for this workgroup is not currently available.

All other PCs are working fine.....This Pc is Windows XP.....Server
2003….Logged in as Administrator…..

Now for the kicker……if you key the path into the box instead of browsing for
the folder location it will map the network drive……
