After upgrading my Access Points from wired ethernet to wireless I now
have 2 extra access points just laying around the house. I am
currently using SMC's Barricade G - SMC2804WBR to wireless network my
laptop and 3 desktops throughout the house.

Extra AP's:
- SMC Barricade SMC7004ABR
- LINKSYS WAP11

Can I use either to extend the range of my centrino laptop when in my
hotel room (NYC) while travelling (I always detect many connections
but distance is always a problem in maintaining connections).

Thanks for any and all suggestions.
