I have a DLink Access point, and a Dlink PCMCIA card on my Laptop, the
laptop is upstairs in the bedroom, I have tried opening both folders
starting from My Network Places, and i have also tried attaching to a
virtual drive (V but I can't seem to transfer stuff over. I am stumped, I
have pcanywhere, and that is working, but via windows, using the copy/cut
and paste, it says to me the network drive has become unavailable?

What am I doing wrong?

Regards.
Paul.

There is a known bug in some Windows versions with some network drivers
(not sure which of them triggers the problem) -
when you you copy large files over slow net, this causes starvation
of the network connection and it drops in the middle.
Perhaps Pcanywhere either throttles the network load so that it
won't become too high, or can recover from connection errors.
