I keep getting this error message:

Message 'SU0013'

"Setup cannot create files on your start up for ME

If you have HPFS or Win NT file system. You need to
create an MS-Dos boot partition. If you have LANtastic
server or SuperStar on your computer, disable it before
running Setup.

For more information, see the section on installing on a
clean computer in Setup.Txt on the Win ME CD"

I just recently had a 'puter' "expert" install the network
software. It was noe done right so in his effort to fix
it he crashed the whole darn system. for some reason he
used a partitioner to make two (2) DRIVES HOPING THAT
WOULD FIX IT It did not work. I have tried to the best of
my ablity to do the above steps.
and still get the same error message every time.

So how do I rectify this and get my puter up and runing
again?

Some one please help me!

Jay B.

See the Microsoft Knowledge Base article 255867 - "How to Use the
Fdisk Tool and the Format Tool to Partition or Repartition a Hard Disk"
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=255867) as well as the file CLEANHD.TXT
which is in the Win 9x folder on the Win Me CD. This should help you get
started.
