Ok, I worked on this problem all night and am making very
little progress. I changed the workstation to a
workgroup and then renamed it and rejoined the domain
with a new name.
I can browse from the workstation to all other
workstations and the server, but I can no browse to it
from anywhere.
I have the following error in my server event log.
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Kerberos
Event Category: None
Event ID: 4
Date: 2/12/2004
Time: 9:00:54 AM
User: N/A
Computer: SERVER01
Description:
The kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error
from the server ELIZDELL$. The target name used was
cifs/Elizdell. This indicates that the password used to
encrypt the kerberos service ticket is different than
that on the target server. Commonly, this is due to
identically named machine accounts in the target realm
(THEDOMAIN.LOCAL), and the client realm. Please contact
your system administrator.
