How can I boost the signal of DI-713P access point?

How can I boost the signal of a DI-713P access point? The DWL-900AP+
doesn't repeat the DI-713 signal per the D-Link web site. Am I out of
luck? Can use one DWL-900AP+ in client mode to the DI713P and cable it
to another DWL-900AP+ that has a different SSID and is on a different
channel?
