Can i bind two NICs to one IP?

What do you want to achieve?

1. Fail over when one NIC is out of service
2. Load balancing with two NICs
3. Act as a bridge for two ethernet segments

As I understand, 1. depends on driver implementation, 2. can
be achieved by bonding, and 3. can be done by establishing a
bridge (virtual) interface with two physical NICs.
