Can a base station be set up to extend the range of a wireless net

I already have a mn-700 set up but need to extend the wireless range. Can a
second mn-700 be configured to do this ??

A second MN-700 can be set up to extend the wireess range. It has to be
set up as an access point and it must be connected to your network
using an ethernet cable.

This article describes this using an MN-500, but a MN-700 can do the
same thing.
