Ok, I have a 2 pc. Desktop and laptop. Local network works good over the g
router.
The thing is, on desktop PC I have installed good sound card and great
speakers. Now I would like from my laptop
when I click on the mp3 song (over the network) that that file start on the
local - desktop pc not just share and start player on laptop. I hope I've
explained well.

All my music files are on desktop pc and I want to start them from laptop
but they must be executed on desktop pc.
Is there any program like server-client or I can do it within windows xp,
service pack 2

Thanks alot.
Regards from Italy

Yes, RealVNC will do what you want, the free version is at:
http://www.realvnc.com/download.html

It works in a similar way to XP's Remote Desktop Connection except that
music will play on the remote PC, not the local one.

If you use WinAmp and WWWinAmp, you can control the Desktop PC playlist
using just a browser window on the laptop. ( www.nullsoft.com )

Thank you, I've installed the program, but It's just to complicate for me.
Set up this, set up that... I am really confused
By simple words, It does not work I need something simple. I don't like
programs with thousand of parameters. Thats old fashion. How to set it up? I
did not find any simple help file, step by step.
Can you help?

just use remote desktop. if you look in the options you can set it to
leave the sounds playing on the host PC. couldn't really be much
easier...
