Hi
I have just started looking at broadband. Do you pay a standard phone line
charge as well as the broadband charge.

Can anyone clarify this point

Cheers
Steve

You pay normal line rental. There's no call charge, as such.

In article <bjgajs$6i1$(E-Mail Removed)>,

You will pay the line rental, just as you would normally pay it for
your voice calls. However if you stop paying the line rental and they
cut your phone off, the broadband will also be lost.

There are no charges for being on-line with broadband, you just pay the
basic monthly fee, nothing more. They do normally charge for
installation, which is about £50.

There are so many deals at the moment, it probably isn't necessary to
pay a connection charge- probably even get a free modem thrown in.
