Hello. Our company has Satellite broadband, but the speeds are very slow. Our
provider tells us that the SatBox keeps falling over because the caching
capacity is too small. They suggest doing putting in a caching solution. Does
2003 server provide this? If not then do/can I purchase new software? Is
there a hardware solution?
Is this a service provider problem?
Thanks for any advise.

Yes, this is a service provider problem. They have supplied a unit which is
not able to cope with your demands.
You are paying for a service which you can't use because their product keeps
falling over.
Why should YOU have to provide a soluction for their problem?.

I know what I would do if one of our service providers told me this, they
would soon be a Ex - service provider if they didn't sort out the problem.

Thanks John
We have had eternal discussions with them. Unfortunately these are the only
Sat provider that meet our needs. If we leave aside this issue, can a
solution be provided in the Server 2003 environment?

No, there is no such thing. If there was,..the Provider would already know
about it, and would have already suggested a specific solution themselves.
Tell them to replace the Device with a better one. The quality of thier
service is *their* responsibility, not yours,...and only they are capable of
correcting it.
