Not enough information, but there are solutions out there (e.g. Packeteer,
Cisco, Riverbed) that help optimize WAN utilization. Since my site just
started looking into these types of solutions to help our branch offices,

I found reading the pdf links on the right help you get a feel for how
caching appliances work.
