Cable and Wireless PLC said it has bought the share capital of UK
broadband services provider Bulldog Communications Ltd for 18.6 mln stg.
Bulldog offers a range of high-speed broadband services using DSL
technology, both on the basis of BT wholesale tariffs and, increasingly, as
a principal, having installed its own equipment in 38 BT exchanges in
central London under "Local Loop Unbundling" regulation, it said. Bulldog
was established in May 2000 and launched commercial service in late 2002.

Indeed. The guy mentioned "Steve Collis" fowarded my email to
Watchdog, who have now asked me to get in touch with the view to
appear on TV! (Guy named Darius Bazargan)

Luckily for me, I only have until the 19th August to endure further
this dispicable excuse for an ISP. Actually its quite funny. I had a
telephone call from their finance people this evening. It appears my
CC authority expired in July - and they want money from me. The irony,
is they owe ME money! Not sure what the outcome will be and am
certainly going to watch my credit references in case they do
something silly.
