Lo all. For the past 4 days my Bulldog dsl connection hasn't worked. I've
emailed them twice and received the standard "We are experiencing a high
number of emails..." etc both times. According to their service status page
everything is fine.

Anyone else having problems? I'm in Hertfordshire.

Cheers

Bowman

Sounds like a line or equipment fault.. I am certainly having no problems.

Have you tried calling Bulldog?

They have an 0800 number now which you can dial (0800 4048150) and the
Sales/Customer Service departments are open on Sunday (I'm not sure about
technical support though they would have been open today)

Regards
Sunil

I am in Herts on Nildram on the Bishops Stortford exchange and I cannot log
in to my ADSL connection and when I do it drops rapidly.

Maybe its a BT fault not an ISP fault.

Cheers for that. It's been back up since this morning. Not sure what the
problem was, but I still haven't had a reply from them. If the problem was
big enough for them to receive 'an unprecedented number of emails' about it
why did the status page have no mention of it?

Its probably a "high number of emails" in general and not a high number of
emails about your specific problem.. (hence no mention of it on the status
page - it might be unique to you)

I generally find phoning them better - especially since they have a 0800
number now..

That depends if you have a spare hour and more to kill.
