Can someone tell me how Bulldog can obtain 8mb speeds. I was led to belileve
that they took over your line from BT, but still used the BT infrastucture.
My local exchange has a max of 2mb, but someone from work stays near me and
has signed to Bulldog, he says that the speed is between 4-6mb. How is this
possible.

Thanks
John

Bulldog install their own equipment in BT exchanges - hence they are not
limited to offering the speeds BT Wholesale offer ISP's.

They do however, use the same "BT infrastructure" from your home to the
telephone exchange (i.e. the physical telephone line)

Regards

BEWARE: Bulldog is in a mess, If anything even slightly goes wrong, Customer
services/support/billing and just getting through on the phone is a
nightmare.

100's if not thousand's of dissatisfied customers and complaints.

recently on Watchdog and being investigated by Ofcom. for possible breaches
of the terms of telecom licence.

Now you are aware of this u then can make a informed choice.

Apparently they have been reduced to selling door-to-door.

Check reviews before using Bulldog, they are a terrible ISP.

It took 3 weeks to connect, worked for 2 weeks, then broke, I've now
been without a phone for 3 weeks Bulldog have done nothing about this,
they have failed to call me back every time they have said they would
(7 times). They have given 3 dates that it would be fixed (which it
never was). Im even having trouble cancelling....

In short NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT - AND A POOR PRODUCT - I WILL
NEVER USE THEM AGAIN
