BT's plans to upgrade all those people who receive their services down
a phone line as opposed to cable...

Visiting the site and entering my phone number it seem sthat my are is
destined to be upgraded in 2010 ! nearly three years away !

It appears that most of the areas being upgraded first are *cable*
covered large inner cities and towns..

Nice one..

Jim.

Correlation doesn't necessarily imply causation. Cabled areas tend to be
urban, and BT are doing urban areas first [well, the 650 exchanges with the
most DSL circuits, which implies urban].

Why does that bother you?

As far as I can see there are no benefits for the customer, it's all to make
it cheaper for BT to run.
