Hi

just a quick question is it possible to share the connection from the BT
Voyager 100 USB DSL modem via the 1 internal Ethernet port built onto my
motherboard with a crossover cable to my laptop using xp internet connection
sharing.

The DSL modem itself does not have an Ethernet port

Thanks

No reason why not, if you set up connection sharing.

Probably - but you'd be far better off ditching the USB device and getting
an ADSL modem/router/firewall to which *both* (and more if need be)
computers can be connected simultaneously.

That way you'll get better reliability, better protection, and will be able
to use the laptop to access the internet without the other computer having
to be powerd up.
