BT Vision?

Hi,

Someone in our family wants us to go down the route of BT Vision,
which would involve me ditching our current broadband provider, and
presumably quite a bit of our equipment, so that we can use the
system.

Has anyone actually used this, and was it worth going through the pane
of switching providers etc? Are there any other TV over Internet
services around, which have similar content to BT?

Finally, if we do decide to go with the BT, must we use the BT router,
and if so, can we get away with using something like the 200MBPS
Netgear Homeplug solution - so we don't have to have the hub box right
next to the television?

I wouldn't bother, get SKY or cable TV instead and buy a DVD recorder. A
lot less trouble and it will work.
