BT server status page on btoFAQ: true or bonkers

Its been like this for weeks! Are the servers really this bad? Or is the
btoFAQ's monitoring system pants?

I think it has been like that since he left BTO. I've pinged several
of the servers, and they all work just fine. I can't use the web news
server on that site either.

Last I heard was that BTO were blocking Mike's polls.

At the moment, UK-Bug is trialing its own server status - which you
can see a brief snipet of what it might look like @
http://snurl.com/37r6 .

Far from covering just BTO, we're currently looking at Nildram,
Plusnet and Bulldog with more to follow soon.

Not as "nice" as what Mike had running by my own admission, but
http://snurl.com/2kdx currently syncs with BTO, Nildram & Plusnet

We're doing something similar but DNS servers aren't monitored. I
suspect that'll change when we get some time, though. Some example
stats at http://snurl.com/37s6.
