The wireless router (option 3 from BT I believe) seems to have a fixed SSID
and WEP encryption key (only 64 bit at that)
Can either be changed does anyone know?

Perhaps you can enlarge?

Can it be done by the end user with a little 'intuition', or only when an
access code (via BT Support perhaps?) is known?
The 'router' is very locked, and there's little - if nothing - than can be
tweaked.

Only via some BT supplied interface /application, or do you have actual
details for how one logs onto the router, either as notes or a web link?

Not for me, but someone went ahead and arranged it, and then asked
me to help sort out her setup to enable wireless access (and she's 90
miles away, so it was over the phone).

just enter bthomehub.home in the browser
Go into the advanced menu
click on home network
click on interfaces
Click on WLAN Business network
Then finally click on configure

the network to be called, mine is called business network

I entered the IP address of the router in the browser - would I have seen
the same thing?
When i went into the advanced menu, I was prompted for a username/password,
and despite entering what i those i thought it might be, i couldn't get past
it, so presumed it was reserved for BT Support to take the end user into?

I think i missed something....

Business?

The one I set up today didn't give me the option to name anything? BTW, it
wasn't a "Fusion", if that makes a difference.
