BT publish usage based charges for ADSL lines

BT have published some information on usage based charging - all linked to
from http://www.serviceview.bt.com/list/notifs/01-12-2004/

Hmm.
So, 50p (inc vat) per K/second per month.
Or 19p/Gb/month.

For 'abusive' users, say 60K/second, that's 30 quid a month, or AIUI
significantly lower than CBC.

AIUI, which may be flawed.

It's 41p (ie, damn near 50p incl vat) per Kbps - ie, bits not bytes.

So, for a subscriber using 500Kbit/sec continuously for a month, that'd
mean a usage charge of almost 250ukp incl VAT.

It might be as well, in future, to list the section numbers which were
added/updated, because the notification pages are not there 'forever'

BT seem to keep moving the sections of the price list around these days -
not just the notifications.

Still at the moment the above is all in Section 44...
