BT phoned me about deleayed broadband!

I have just had a phone call (finally) from BT broadband, Seemingly BT
wholesale has a major software problem which is delaying all? exchange
enablement. BT now have a backog of 10,000 outstanding broadband orders, now
I suspect a lot of other ISP's are in the same situation. The date now is
now 17 august + 7-10days and more likely middle of September
She did say that BT wholesale live in a world of their own, and apologised
that it had taken a week to come back to me.

Well, my exchange has also been given 17th August as a date. Supposedly,
according to my ISP (F9), my service will be magically enabled on this date
also. It used to be 13th July, then 22nd July... Yawn....
