BT Order Tracker

Sunil posted a link in a post a few days ago (Friday I think) that if I read
rightly would show all orders with BT that are currently being processed.

Would this show ADSL orders that had been placed with any ISP or just orders
that had been placed specificly with BT itself.

My ADSL order is not on but and change that I had made to my BT services
was.

Thanks

Anth

Any ISP.. - though all the tracker will say is that an order exists - it
won't identify the ISP.

It also (sometimes) lags events on the ground sometimes by a couple of days.

How long ago did you place your ADSL order with your ISP?

Regards
Sunil

Ooo, the 9th of July. The ISP is currently looking into my order for me.

There is the issue of getting the DACS removed from my line but I would've
expected to see an order on the BT system. Unless of course it doesn't go
on until the DACs has been removed or they have found out they can't remove
the DACS and have told the ISP "NO".

Thanks

Anth

I would definately be chasing up the ISP..

AFAIK the ADSL order will still appear on BT's systems - before the DACS is
removed..

By now I would have expected you to have ADSL for at least a week assming
its a standard IPStream based product (even with DACS)

Well, yes - in which case the order would "disappear" from BT's systems but
your ISP should have told you by now - and not being able to remove a DACS
box is "rare"

As an aside, Sunil - when I go to the order tracker page it always asks me
for an order number. I don't have a BT order number, just as ISP one, so I
can't get any further. I seem to remember there was an option to view all
orders for your account, but I can't find it any more. Any ideas?

Iwan

BT have removed the "All Orders" option but you can still view the data by
going to the URL below.

https://www.cs-server1.bt.com/hhway-...ABC&TELNUM=XYZ

Replacing ABC with your BT customer number (two letters followed by 8
digits) and XYZ with your telephone number including area code, no spaces.

Sunil

We've written a simple page for people to check orders through this system:

www.icbroadband.com/btorder

It just fills in the gaps in address Sunil gave, but hopefully this should
make it very easy for anybody wanting to check orders on the BT system
relating to their telephone line.
