Bt Line test Amber.....what does it mean?

The girl I spoke to would'nt elaborate, told me to place an order and see
what happens....Could I have a problem getting BB?

The amber line signal means that BT say that you are borderline in
regards to whether you'll receive ADSL or not. Your best bet is to just
wait and see what happens with your order... just don't get your hopes.

I know BT say that 97% of people can get broadband in enabled exchange
areas but I personally find this statistic questionable. Basically, if
you live more than 3km from an exchange then it's 50/50 whether you'll
get it as it's all down to luck (in terms of what type of phone line you
are on).
