Hi Everyone,

My friend has a BT Hub with phone.

He is seriously considering changing his ISP.

Can the BT Hub that he has got be altered so that it will work on another
ISP or does he have to go out and purchase a router like a D-Link or a
Netgear ?

Yeah, I know D-Link are crap.

There are software cracks for them available on the internet, just do a
google & see what you find

The router can be hacked - do a google, but the phone will not work on
another ISP.

Now you do surprise me about the phone, because when my friend was having
trouble with his hub phone, BT told us to try a different DECT phone with
the hub. We did this and the DECT phone worked immediately.

It's not the phone it self which won't work, it's the protocols that other
ISPs may use which won't be compatable..
