hi my brother had set up the bt home hub wireless for his computer when
we first got the hub and a cabled computer next to it acting as our
main gateway.

i now bought myself a wireless card and on my computer pick up the hub
perfect strength.

however heres the problem i get to the point where i put in the WEP key
and the computer attempt to connect after which i get a windows message
occur.

"cannot connect to the wireless network ...... see administartor (etc)"

i do not understand why i cannot connect whereas my brother in the room
next to me can. the network is not out of range as i gt the same
problem rite next to the hub aswell.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanx

jamie

Does it work if you turn off the WEP security in the hub? Your computer
should then show the network is unsecured and not ask for a WEP key.

Can you connect your computer to the hub using an ethernet cable - just to
prove there's nothing wrong with your PC ...
