BT Home Hub & wireless handsets?

Hi, Has anyone had any experience with connecting a digital wireless
phone station to the BT Home Hub? I know that there's an option to have
their wireless phone, and there's a standard phone socket (after
fitting the adapter) at the rear of the hub. Will this work only with
their hardware, or could I use any digital phone base unit?

Hi Phil,

You can use any phone plugged into the adaptor, it will pick up your
broadband talk number by default or key "5" to get your conventional PSTN
dialtone.

Incoming calls on BBT or PSTN will ring that one phone.
