BT Exchange Activate changes

BT are planning to reduce the price of their Exchange Activate scheme
(perhaps something to do with zero takeup as well as falling equipment
prices) from next month

The new prices are £25k for the first block of 30 users and £10k thereafter

Howver, this reduction in upfront cost is partly offset by the introduction
of the standard rental fee for Home500 users (previously the higher upfront
cost included 3 years rental).

The rental for 30 users is £4680/yr so there is still a net saving of over
£5k, also the rental is charged per line connected not the previous scheme
where all 30 were paid for in the upfront cost.

The changes are detailed at
http://www.serviceview.bt.com/list/n....boo/21101.htm

Regards
Sunil
