BT Cancelled my Force9 order?

Signed up with Force 9 in July but BT who updated our island microwave link
in 2000 hadn't got it right. I informed force 9 that there was a problem but
to keep my order live as BT had an obligation to us as a community. BT
broadband have told me numerous times that I must go with them before they
will address the problem. BT themselves are still taking broadband orders
for our island and have now admitted that we are a community and therefore
are obliged to give us ADSL. There are three islands to do and they should
be done by the end of the year. So why are they taking orders for BT
broadband yet cancelled my order through force9? - Not going to try to get
force9 to keep the order and leave the modem with me as they have already
sent a pack to return it. Will take another look around when the time comes
for an isp but it certainly will not be BT.
Mind you BT are starting to go ahead here, one islander is going to get a
new cable fitted after waiting over a year so that he can get a reasonable
dialup service.

the "Exchange Activate" exchanges have a limited portfolio of ISPs -
BT * 2 plus Scotnet generally.

www.bt.com/broadband will only offer 512k if its "Activate" - no 256k
or 1M or 2M services

AOL - the unlimited ISP of choice for heavy downloaders.
