GOOD NEWS

Hooray: 2mbit upgrade goes live on Saturday - well, that's only 5 days
without a service thanks to BT cockups.

Hooray #2: Downloaded Whitebox Linux ISO CDs (3) in about 1.5 hours!

BAD NEWS

80%+ packet loss this morning, dropping remote connections (I'm working
from home via ssh) and they've 'forgotten' to transfer all our permitted
domain names to the faster service and so no-one on site can send email.

BAD NEWS 2:

BT's admin system has 'gone' down so 'can I call back in about 2 hours...'

I'd put a funny tagline here but I just can't be bothered!
