Have been using BBV now for a number of months and in general
no probs.

Occassionaly however get *message sorry number not recognised*
and impossible to dial out unless of course wish to
contact BT BBV support on 0800****
but then get tired after waiting in excess of 20 mins
for response.

Is number not recognised a network problem and within
control of BT?
(numbers dialled are from list held on handset)

Cheers

I'm getting exactly the same problem at the mo. The BBV support &
fault reporting service response time is pathetic, to say the very
least! I got through on 0800 028 3228 (support number, what support?)
after around 30 minutes and now I've been transferred and that has
been on hold for around the last 25 mins!

I had the same problem about a fortnight ago BTW.

Pete

IMO the support desk haven't got a clue. They ask me things such as
'is my broadband working OK' and try to blame it on my ISP!

Clueless, or what?

I have had BBV for a few days, had no problems. I've called the
'support' a few times, there work.

I can't make 3way calls though. Very quiet

Just thinking, maybe your handset is dialling the number to fast; the BBV system may be a
bit slow!
