I just installed a new Win2K3 Server. Now, from any
computer, including the Win2K3 Server, if I try to browse
my Domain through Network places, it asks for a user name
and password. How can I allow all access?

There are three ways.

You can promote the server to a domain controller, join all computers to the domain,
and add all user accounts to the domain so that users logon to the domain to access
shares on domain computers. Though this is not extremely complex to do, you should
not try it without understanding the basics of an Active Directory domain and how to
configure networking and particularly dns correctly.

In a workgroup environment each computer that others need to access will need to have
local accounts for all the possible users that exactly match the logon name and
password that the users use to logon to their computers.

The easiest but least secure method is to enable the "guest" account on all computers
in Local Groups and Users that users need access to. This is recommended ONLY in
environments where all users are 100 percent trusted and there is a properly
configured firewall to protect the network from the internet or you will get hacked
big time for sure. Guest access also requires that the "everyone" group have access
this computer from the network user right and permissions for both share and ntfs to
shared folders. Windows 2003 may also possibly need some changes to security options
in Local Security Policy for any anonymous access restrictions in order to allow
guest access. --- Steve

Sounds like there is a problem connecting to the Master Browser and the new
W2k3 server isn't the MB. Do you really have a domain or it's a workgroup
yet?

Look if this applies:
