Hello:

Is it possible to browse the computer on another subnet? Would you mind
to give me some hints?

Thanks!

Hi,

I would suggest WINS over Lmhosts files for browsing. Just configure a
WINS server and have everyone register in WINS. This will also provide
Netbios name resolution when you browse to the specific machine. (Seeing
the machine in the browse list, and actually resolving the name to the
correct IP are 2 seperate things.)

Thank you,
