Hi,

I think I have a network problem causing this error but I
can't find it and hoping one of you can.

Problem: Internet Explorer can not find any web sites.
Error message when a try to get to a site is the DNS
error.

I'm using a LAN. I can ping inside and outside the
network using the ip addresses. But when I try to ping
using the domain name I get the host unknown message. I
also tried to put the ip address into the address bar on
the browser but still no site is displayed.

I have been in the connection tab of internet options and
set it up as a LAN connection to no avail.

Anyone have a clue what is happening?

Mike
