Problem:

I have 3 domains A, B, and C. Users from domain B visit domain A
frequently. They login to their home domain (B) from A (All domains have a
two way trust). When the user (from domain B) is logged into domain A users
from domain A cannot see any computers on domain B except the user's computer
that is currently logged into domain A. Domain A is windows 2003 Domains B &
C are NT 4.0. Is this a master browser issue or what is causing this...any
suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks

A machine's workgroup or domain membership will effect how the Microsoft
Windows Network is displayed in Network Places. When a machine is part of a
workgroup, it will send out an announcement to the subnet stating it is part
of that workgroup and retrieve the list of all other computers in the
workgroup from the subnet browser responsible for that workgroup name. The
same thing occurs when in a domain. This list will look different depending
on what workgroup, or domain, a machine is a member of.

Yes, it is a Browser issue, more specifically it is likely
a (missing) WINS server issue.

If you have more than one IP subnet, you need WINS server
for this to work (easily).

If you have Microsoft machines on an IP network of more
than one subnet you need WINS server(s) -- if you have
more than one WINS server you need them to all replicate.

All machines must be clients of this single WINS database;
servers -- including DCs, and even WINS servers -- must
be WINS clients too.

Your PDCs for NT, and PDC Emulators for Win2000+ domains
must be up and functioning (also a WINS client.)

Browsing relies on the server service to send a host name
announcement packet to a local SMB or segment master
browser. The SMB gathers the local browse list and passes
it on to the DMB or domain master browser. The DMB gathers
the entire list and passes back to all SMBs who then provide the
list to clients who request them. The DMB will also query WINS
in order to find other DMBs to get their domain wide browse list.
Each DMB/PDC registers a domain name 1b unique name for
domains with the WINS service. I'd start by verifying the 1b name
for the missing domain is present in WINS. Note: This whole process
also relies on NetBios broadcasts in order to work. Netbios should
not be filtered.

Thank you all for the replies. I tried to keep my question brief but I'll
have to be more specific. I do have wins servers in all the locations. All
the browse lists (In network neighborhood) are correct until I have someone
from domain B login to domain B from Domain A (I have someone that typically
works out of NY log into our LA domain...while that person is in LA all LA
users (when browsing for resources in NY) only see the person that is
visiting in the browse list (only one pc is visable and it's the person that
currently visting). This happens while the person is visiting and returns
back to normal shortly after they leave. Is there something I can do to keep
this from happening?

Turn off the computer browser service on all PCs entering your
local LAN for logon. Looks like these PCs are assuming the MB
role for the remote segment while being logged into your location
which will cause it to be the only machine in the list. Disabling this
service will only prevent that particular machine from attempting
to maintain a browse list. It will still send it's host name a
announcement in order to announce it's presence on the domain
..
