Simple setup:
Two cards and a crossover.
both machine have identical cards and motherboards.

both configured thus:

Client for MS Networks
D-Link Adapter
Dial-up Adaptor
NetBEUI linked to D-Link Adaptors
TCP/ip linked to Dial-up Adaptor
File and print sharing enabled

One machine has browse master enabled and the other on Auto.

Result:

Under Network Neighborhood both machines come up fine with all drives
and printers showing and are useable.

Problem:
Under Entire Network nothing shows with no error message just a blank
screen.

Solution so far-
I must dial onto the internet with modem and then the workgroup and
all computers and drives and printers show up without fail. Even if I
close down the dial up connection everything continues to work fine.

So what do I have to do to get the browse master thing working without
using the dial up first?

Thanks,
Art

Hi,
Are both PC's running XP?
Why don't you use TCP/IP instead of NETBUI?

Ron
