Brother MFC 6490CW Scannertaste "PC-Anschluss"-Fehler

Habe den Brother MFC 6490CW über Ethernet in Betrieb genommen. Beim
Drücken der Scannen-Taste am Drucker kommt die Meldung "PC-Anschluss"
auf dem Display und nichts passiert. Eigentlich sollte er in eine Datei
drucken. Kennt jemand die Fehlermeldung und weiß, wo ich suchen sollte.
