Am about to move to a property with both a BT line and NTL cable
connections. Question: which is the best route to go, bearing in mind
that we need a phone connection plus 1Mb/s broadband service. What
would YOU do? I am inclined towards a BT account and Pipex adsl
account, but have heard good reports about the combined NTL
phone/broadband product. Many thanks in advance for any guidance.

Chris

I`m on NTL`s 600k service combined with their phone service, Phone is fine
and the Broadband *connection* is fine but don`t expect to be able to use
the newsgroups for binaries etc as it`s overloaded, they do however have a
non-binaries Newserver..

BTW, Don`t touch the TV part, real terrible, box freezing and the lack of
EPG is not good..

id go with cable service if i could get it, im with adsl at the mo but cable
is not aval here, more through put and streaming seams alot faster on cable
600k compared to my adsl 512, if ya need binaries u could subscribe to
easynews or clara news depending if ya use them.
