I ended up having to replace a microfilter, but even 512K broadband is a
revelation. And the always-on nature makes a difference to how you use
the net. Unless you're after a lot of data. it's the latter you notice
more. Suddenly you're in the Googleverse 24/7
And a couple of times I've found myself grabbing a file off the net a
second time, rather than looking for the CD I burnt a couple of months
back.
