Broadband Telephone

Does anyone have any experience of Broadband telephone (VOIP)?
I am sorely tempted to invest in it and would be grateful to hear from
anyone who already has.

Dear Alan:

I have a vonage box connected through my Mn-700 router.
It works well except for the manual reset (pull and re-
insert the power plug) after every power outage.

All sorts to technical features for ~$17.00 per month.
