Hi folks,

Was just looking for a small piece of advice.

Can anyone recommend a reliable and affordable Broadband router. It
is required simply for sharing my BB connection between two PC's?

A wireless option would also be considered if anyone knows of a
competitively priced one out there.

Thanks

Calum.

I bought a Linksys BESFR41 from eBuyer for around £35. It has 3 PC's all
sharing my NTL broadband connection. Very easy to set up, very reliable, and
generally works well (just make sure you get the latest firmware). For the
money, I dont think youll find a cheaper Router/4 port switch.

I have just networked 2 pcs together with a X over cable.

If I use a router, do I still use this or do I have to run a straight cable
between PC and router?

Thank you
