Metronet.co.uk, ukfsn.org, perhaps Eclipse... Depends on various things
such as whether the postcode will identify it as business (Plus.Net does
its own check and will spot a business from postcode, I think). Peter.

UK ADSL <http://tinyurl.com/dghgq> - Happy to save cash with Plus.Net!

Unsuitable for heavy downloaders, but fine for video/audio streaming.

Well I use Metronet so it's irrelevant, but ....

My home is also the registered address of my business so a post code
check wouldn't reveal anything (well, not anything useful).

Our telephone line is registered as a business line.

Neither Wanadoo, AOL or BT were bothered by this when trying to sell us
broadband.

Jan,

Check their t&c's. When you start having problems, they won't take any
responsibility for loss of earnings because you aren't paying the business
premium.
And it's bound to happen sooner rather than later!

For that matter, I would be somewhat surprised if any ISP was ready to
take any responsibility... I am quite happy to be proved wrong, of
course, but I think most if not all would say that service is not
guaranteed - anyone know different ?

No, you are correct as there is absolutely no Service level agreement.
In fact you could (in an extreme case) be happily browsing away one day
& the next not be able to have any form of DSL service what so ever &
you or the ISP wouldn't be able to do a thing about it.

Well other than try & shame BT into doing something about it, as some
have succesfully done in the past.
