broacasting in two ethernet cards in the same PC

HI,
I want to broadcast the same packets on to two network cards installed
on the same machine. I tried, even though both the cards r receiving
packets, only one is transmittting..can anyone help me out!!!

How about some details?

What distribution and version?
What is the output of '/sbin/ifconfig -a' ?
What is the output of '/sbin/route -n' ?

You aren't making the mistake of having two network cards on the same network
are you? When there are two or more routes to the same address range, the
kernel will use the _last_ one configured.
