Hey all,

We currently joined a 2K3 Server to a Small Business Server 2003 domain. All
we had on the 2K3 server was some database information (ACT, Quickbooks, etc)
that was stored in shared folders. We also had a TS in application mode
running on that server. Now that I've joined the domain it looks like I'll
need to do something about setting up the TS licensing again. Can someone
give me a push in the right direction? On another note all I've done is join
that server to the domain and point the DNS entry to our SBS server which is
running our internal DNS. Is there anything else that I should be doing or is
that about it? Thanks in advance!

Josh

looks like all you have left is to reconfigure your license server

Hey Seth,

Thanks for the reply. Is there any documentation on what I need to do to
reconfigure the server? When I try to go to the TS Licensing Manager it says
that there is no licensing server available on the domain. I can manually
connect to the server name though to view my licenses, etc. Can someone point
me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

since your license server is activated and running, can you establish a
terminal connection from a client?

Seth,

Terminal Services is running, but its running in the 120 day licensing mode.
After that it will stop issuing connections. It's like the domain doesn't see
a licensing server.
