bridge problem in red hat 9.0

Dear all :
I have environment Red hat 9.0 , Intel Pro NIC card and Ralink
rt2400 wireless card with ap-mode driver.

First, I bridge one NIC card and one 802.11b wireless card. Then
after following commands, the result is that my pc crashed:
brctl addbr br0
brctl addif br0 eth0
brctl addif br0 wlan0
ifconfig eth0 0.0.0.0
ifconfig wlan 0.0.0.0
ip link set br0 up

Can someone tell me how to solve this kind of problem ?
